Rental Rates

We offer quality single and double kayaks, canoes, and stand-up paddleboards for rent out of Montague Harbour Marina on Galiano Island.

Rental rates include all necessary safety equipment. Optional accessories, such as drybags and panniers are also available for rent separately.

On calm summer days, there is no better place to paddleboard than the calm tranquil waters around Montague Harbour! Our displacement-hull stand-up paddleboards are both stable and efficient – great for beginners and experienced paddlers!

Renters must be confident swimmers and at least 12 years old. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Our stand-up paddleboards are designed for one rider, and have a maximum weight capacity of 250 lbs. A young child or small dog may be taken as a passenger (provided the weight limit is not exceeded) for a $5+tax fee per day (includes extra PFD).

All paddleboard rentals include PFD, ankle leash, paddle, throwrope, and a map (one per group). Dry bags and other accessories are available for additional fees (see Accessory Rentals).

On most days, the waters around Galiano are as placid as on a lake – perfect to explore by canoe! Rates are per boat based on the number of occupants.

Renters should have prior canoeing experience and knowledge of how to perform a self-rescue. Inexperienced paddlers can take part in a lesson ($10+gst each, or $30+gst per group), or join a guided kayak tour. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Our canoes have a maximum capacity of 3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children. Small dogs accustomed to paddling can be taken in canoes for a $5+tax fee per day). Please discuss with us when making a reservation if you plan to paddle with more than two people and/or a dog!

All canoe rentals include PFDs, paddles, spare, bailer, throwrope, sponge, and a map. Dry bags and other accessories are available for additional fees (see Accessory Rentals).
